Lucknow: Soon more than twice the number of patients will be admitted in the Lari Cardiology Department of KGMU, Lucknow. Lari’s expansion work is in its final stages. Due to this, the hope of getting relief for heart patients has increased.
Heart patients are coming from all over the state in Lari. 500 to 700 patients are coming to OPD daily. In the emergency, 70 to 80 patients are coming daily.
The department has a total of 80 beds in ICU and general ward. In such a situation, heart patients have to wait for treatment. Patients are compelled to turn to private hospitals.
The institute administration has taken important steps to remove the grievances of the patients. A new building is being constructed for the expansion of Lari. Its work is almost done.
There will be 180 beds in Lari
A new building is being completed with about Rs 76 crore 44 lakh. After this, there will be a total of 176 beds in Lari. According to Dr. Akshay Pradhan, the spokesperson of Lari, the new ward of 96 beds is almost ready. Little things left.
Which is expected to be completed in one to two months. It will have general and private wards. Patients are expected to get relief from the problem of beds to a great extent.
