LendenClub Launches Fixed Maturity Peer-to-Peer Investment Plans in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow: It is a new-age term-based peer-to-peer plan that provides investors with stable high returns of up to 10-12 per cent per annum with a minimum investment of Rs.10,000 per annum.

The company aims to double its existing investor base in Uttar Pradesh by the end of FY23. LendenClub is an RBI-approved NBFC-P2P service that serves over 20 lakh investors.

The company has designed the Fixed Maturity P2P Investment Plan in such a way that the amount invested in it is hyper-diversified across a vast pool of borrowers, due to which the default rate is greatly reduced, thus reducing their investment.

The risk of investors is also reduced. The new AI and ML based algorithms are more powerful and effective than before because they are fine-tuned and trends on proprietary first-party data acquired by the company since its inception.

This enables FMPP to offer hyper-diversification as a unique feature that minimizes risk and provides stability of returns. Before launching its product, LendenClub did an in-depth analysis of investor data in Uttar Pradesh and better understand the investment behavior of investors.

In the first half of calendar year 2022, it attracted more than 2.75 times the number of investors. saw an increase, while investments increased by more than 4 times as compared to the calendar year 2021
