Let India be led by Rama’s will power to greater heights – PM Modi
Ayodhya: As the festival of lights takes centrestage, the colours of the life and times of Lord Rama are omnipresent in Ramnagri Ayodhya. The whole of Ayodhya is basking in the glory of Lord Rama. The myriad shades of Deepotsav are scattered all around Ayodhya. Ramkatha Park is decorated like Raj Bhavan. In the midst of all this, PM Modi took out time to reach Ayodhya to participate in the grand Deepotsav event.
PM Modi visited Ram Lalla in Ayodhya and took his blessings. After visiting Ramlala, PM Modi saw the map of Ram temple and sought information. PM Modi also inspected the construction works. After this, PM Modi in the role of Maharishi Vashishth performed the aarti of Shri Ram and addressed the gathering.
PM Modi said, “The darshan of Shri Ramlala and then the consecration of King Ram, this good fortune is obtained only by the grace of Ramji. When Shri Ram is consecrated, the ideals, values and values of Lord Rama become firm in us. In the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsava, a will power like Lord Ram will take the country to new heights. The values that Lord Ram inculcated in his words, in his thoughts, in his governance, in his administration are the inspiration for Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas and the basis of Sabka Vishwas-Sabka Prayaas.
PM Modi said that there was a time when questions were raised on the existence of Shri Ram in our own country. The result was that the development of religious places of our country was left behind. In the last eight years, we have put forward the work of development of religious places. The life of Lord Shri Ram tells that our rights become self-evident by our duty. Shri Ram gave maximum emphasis to duties in his life. He stayed in the forest and accompanied the sadhus.
Prime Minister Modi told the people of Ayodhya that with the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, the number of tourists visiting will increase. In such a situation, Ayodhya should be clean and the behavior of the people here is good. It is for the people here to decide. He said that how good it is that the behavior of the citizens of Ayodhya should also become a standard in itself.
He said – Ram does not leave anyone behind. Ram does not turn his face out of duty. Rama, therefore, embodies the spirit of India, which believes that our rights are self-evident by our duties. Lord Rama is called Maryada Purushottam. Maryada also teaches to have respect and to give respect and also the limit, the realization that is requested, that understanding is duty.
He said – From the Red Fort, I have called upon all the countrymen to imbibe the five souls. The one element with which the energy of these five pranas is associated is the duty of the citizens of India. Today in the city of Ayodhya, on this auspicious occasion of Deepotsav, we have to repeat our resolve to learn from Shri Ram.
