Library Tour brings Ph.D scholars up to speed with a treasure trove of knowledge at LU
Lucknow: The Department of Psychology, University of Lucknow organized a ‘Library Tour’ to the Tagore and Cyber Library for the newly admitted international and regular Ph.D. scholars of the 2021-22 session, on 6th May 2023.
This initiative was taken by Dr. Archana Shukla, Head of the Department of Psychology. This Tour was organized with the aim of exposing new research scholars to valuable academic resources and facilities offered by the Tagore and Cyber Library.
A wide range of books, journals, rare manuscripts, and other digital resources were shown and scholars were made familiar to accessing process. International research scholars – Ms. Darshika Ramparsad from Mauritius and Mr. Tiger Ton from Vietnam visited the library.
They were accompanied by regular Ph.D. scholars, admitted in the 2021-22 session. Some of these scholars have graduated from institutions like Banaras Hindu University, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Allahabad University, Patna University, Kanpur University, and AIIMS Delhi. Prof. D.R. Sahu, Honorary Librarian, Tagore Library, Dr. Jyoti Mishra, and Ms. Mamta Vaishya were present on this tour.
