Light a lamp made of cow dung instead of Chinese in Diwali: Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia

Lucknow : Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia inspected the lamps being made from cow dung by the Municipal Corporation at Kanha Upvan and instructed the Chief Veterinary Officer to expedite the work.

On the said occasion, the Mayor also checked the quality of lamps being made from cow dung and also made lamps with her own hands.

On this occasion, Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia said that the cow has its own importance in Indian culture, these new useful things made from cow dung will also help in the protection of non-milk cows, as well as keep a check on those imported from China on the occasion of Diwali.

Instead of lamps, you will be able to light up your homes with these lamps. Which will be available in Jhulelal Vatika as well as stalls at various places. The Mayor further said that this would promote cow protection and welfare and development of the cow. With this effort, the cow dung of old and other cows that do not give milk can also be put to good use.

On this occasion, Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia along with BJP councilor party leader Kauslendra Dwivedi, Additional Municipal Commissioner Rakesh Yadav, Chief Medical Officer Dr Arvind Rao and other people were present.
