Lucknow: On July 26 and 27, there is a possibility of heavy rain again in different areas of the state. On 24th and 25th July, light to moderate rain will continue at isolated places in different parts of the state. This was confirmed by the weatherman.
According to Meteorological Department Director JP Gupta, Monsoon remained active in the state during the last 24 hours. During this, there was light to moderate rain in the entire state and at some places, there was rain and thundershowers.
Jhansi recorded the highest rainfall of six cm during this period. Apart from this, five each in Mainpuri, Shikohabad, Tilhar of Shahjahanpur, Mauranipur of Jhansi, four each in Bhogaon of Mainpuri, Dalmau of Rae Bareilly, Nanpara of Bahraich, Chhibramau of Kannauj, Etah, Nawabganj of Bareilly, Lalitpur, Shahjahanpur, Kheri.
Two cm rain was recorded in Mohammadi, Bahraich, Akbarpur in Ambedkar Nagar, Mahmudabad in Sitapur, Hamirpur, Iglas in Aligarh, Rath in Hamirpur, Jalalabad in Shahjahanpur, Bisalpur in Pilibhit, Jalaun.
Due to this change, the day temperature dropped in many divisions including Bareilly, Kanpur, Meerut, Agra.
