Live demonstration of AED Machine organized in CMS Head Office
Lucknow: An Automated External Defibrillation (AED) machine was inaugurated and demonstrated at the newly constructed head office of City Montessori School. On this occasion Prof. Aditya Kapoor, Head, Department of Cardiology, SGPGI, Lucknow, CMS inaugurated the AED machine by visiting the head office.
While demonstrating the AED machine, Dr. Kapoor said that the AED machine is a panacea for heart attack patients. Cardiac arrest can happen to anyone at any time without discrimination of age, awareness in such topics is very important. He further said that till proper medical help is available to the patients of sudden cardiac arrest, C.P.R. can be secured and if CPR does not work, then in such a situation the AED machine is certainly very helpful in saving the life of the patient.
Dr. Kapoor advised that it is very useful to install this machine at every school, office, mall, railway station, airport and other public places.
CMS Founder Dr. Jagdish Gandhi said on the occasion that CMS is always very sensitive to the good health of its students, teachers and workers.
On this occasion, CMS Founder Dr. Jagdish Gandhi and Dr. Bharti Gandhi honored Dr. Kapoor by presenting memento. President and MD, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon expressed gratitude to Dr.Kapoor.
In terms of necessary measures in case of ‘Sudden Cardiac Arrest’, CMS, the management has decided to install AED machines in the head office and all the campuses.
On this occasion, CMS Founder Dr. Jagdish Gandhi and Dr. Bharti Gandhi, CMS President and MD, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, CMS along with technical advisor Vinay Gandhi were present.
Senior officers, teachers and workers of AED were present, who got detailed information by watching the live demonstration of the methods of using the AED machine.
