Lucknow: Lok Bandhu Hospital has become the third largest government hospital in the state capital after Balrampur and Civil Hospital. Here the admission of patients has started on 318 beds. Special Neonatal Care Unit (SNCU), Emergency, ICU, Delivery, Bone, Eye, Medicine, Surgery facility for newborns is available. All operations, big and small, have started.
Along with 16 beds in emergency, a four-bed ICU has also started in the emergency of serious patients. With the increase in facilities, the number of patients in OPD has increased from one to two thousand. More than six lakh people of Kanpur Road, Sarojininagar, Alambagh, Krishnanagar, Ashiana and Telibagh have got a big relief.
Dr. Ajay Shankar Tripathi, Medical Superintendent of Lok Bandhu Hospital, says that before Covid, only 100 beds were being admitted here.
