Lucknow Book Fair all set to regale bookworms of all hues

Lucknow: The most awaited book fest since 2003, the Lucknow Book Fair is set to commence from 25th March to 03rd April 2022 at Bal Sanghralaya Lawns, Charbagh, Lucknow
The theme of this year is-EK BHARAT SHRESTHA BHARAT.
Addressing the distinguished press and electronic media persons at Sheroes Hangout Cafe, the convenor Manoj Singh Chandel Informed that since central and state governments have taken all the necessary steps to control the pandemic and achieved more than 80% vaccination mark and eased the norm for organising the events, the Organizer has taken the initiative to organise the book fair. He said its a happy thing that we have been able to tide past the vagaries of the pandemic. We pray for the well being of all. He said the elections and Holi were reasons for us to push the book fest further, however now it is happening. He was confident that the literature lovers will have something to cherish this year as well.
Director of Book Fair, Aakarsh Chandel informed that a minimum discount of 10% will be given to the book lovers. He also talked about the never-ending benefits of books in the virtual world. Books are known to be the best friend & have been playing a significant role in the growth of society for ages. He also informed that all measures will be taken to insure safe and comfortable access for book lovers Registration counters, Sanitisation Kiosk, NO MASK NO ENTRY, and SOP will be followed. The timings of the fair is from 11 AM to 9 PM daily with FREE ENTRY!

Sansthan, UP Hindi Sansthan, National Council for Promotion of Sindhi Language, Comission for Scientific & Technical Terminology, Scholars Hub, Bolti Ramayan, Rishi Publications, Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Ramakrishna Mission, Pralek Prakashan, Hindi Vangmaya Nidhi, Ritesh Book Yashika, Rational Thinkers cafe and many other publishers distributors and organisations.
Local Writers stall FREE for the display and sale of their books.
A variety of programs such as Book release, Meet the writer, Kavi Sammelan, Mushayara and Cultural Programs will also be held. Mission Leader Vishwam Foundation UP Tripathi informed that Singing and Dance, Quiz, Drawing, Slogan Writing. Story Writing. Nukkad Natak, Mehndi, Rangoli Competitions will be organised in the book fair for children and Youth
Dist. Administration, Nagar Nigam, Police Commisionarate, Lucknow Smart City have also extended their support. U.P. Tripathi of Vishwam Foundation said a plethora of youth related activities will be organized at the Lucknow Book Fair. Many events will include students from private and government schools and colleges. These will include activities like Nukkad Natak, Music, Mehdi and poster making to name a few.
Mr.T.P. Havelia Patron requested media persons to extend their full support as received always to popularise the book fair. He said that only when people buy books will the writer get a royalty for their work and his way one can contribute to the life of a writer. Mr. Rishabh Rastogi and Vishal Srivastava were also present on this occasion
Jyoti Kiran Ratan speaking to the media said that kids form an important part of the Lucknow Book Fair. She said that continuing with the traditions in the past, children will have a digital window to express themselves. She said that between 6 to 8 pm in the evenings they will connect online and perform, showing diverse skillsets.
All in all there was an exuberant mood to see the book fest back yet again. The organizers have promised to make it an even better and brighter experience this year.
