Lucknow Book Fair visitors quench their spiritual want through books
Lucknow: Amidst the hustle and bustle of Lucknow Book Fair which is going on at Bal Sangrahalaya Lawn Charbagh the importance of the words printed in the books remained intact. On the cultural stage here, along with the release ceremonies, it was raining poetry. This fair will end with the closing ceremony.
As always, a large section of book lovers are in search of Spirituality, Religion, Philosophy and Ved-Vendat literature continuously engaged in the fair for the last days to satisfy their search and curiosity. Important books of religion, spirituality, Vedanta and philosophy-psychology are present in the fair.
At the Rational Thinker’s stall is Stephenie Meyer’s Return of Gold, Umaj Kiya’s If I Should Speak. So IRH Press India Company has many books in the Motivational Books of Tsyuho Okawa including Laws of Mystery, Law of Faith and Law of Goal.
Apart from Benoy’s Bahl’s Buddhism, Devotional Poet and Mystic, many books of philosophy and commentary based on Mahabharata, Ramayana, Bhagwat are also present in this stall besides other stalls at the stall of Publications Division of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
Osho’s Premyoga, Radhey Shyam Tripathi’s collection of Shrimad Bhagavad Gita compendium, Yogi Amrit Katha, Autobiography of Paramahansa Yogananda, Shantanu Gupta’s A Yogi Who Changed Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at the bookland stall.
From character building to nation building, religion, caste, culture and socialism, Vedanta in practical life, etc. are prominent books at the stall of Paramhans Vivekananda Vedanta. Books are prominent at the stall of Sasta Sahitya Prakashan. Apart from this, other material including Durga Saptashati is present. The organizer of the book fair, Manoj Singh Chandel said that the formal closing of the book fair on the stage will take place tomorrow at 5 pm, while the fair will continue till 9 pm.
With spiritual discussion from the stage, underlining the ill effects of drug de-addiction and dowry system, scholars on behalf of Satlok Ashram presented their experiences and facts in front of the audience. Under Vishwam Mahotsav, competitions for children and youth were held in conjunction with UP Tripathi. Students of LBS School Topkhana Sania, Arslan, Armaan recited poetry and gave a speech on environment.
In the program Meri Dharti Meri Responsibility, young nature lover of Gonda, Abhishek Dubey threw light on the disappearing existence of the crooked river of Gonda and gave the message of saving the environment.
Aanchal, Snigdha, Sakshi, Shreyanshi, students of Sociology Department of Lucknow University discussed possibilities in social work. The new edition of Benazir’s fiction book Divorcy was released by the Swaroop Literary Cultural Society.
Many literary lovers including Janab Anees Ansari, Rizwan Ahmed, Athar Nabi, Siraj Mehndi, Hasan Kazmi were present in this. Litterateurs were respected and their creative expression was also exposed.
