Lucknow business community shares suggestions to check traffic pangs in city with DM
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Adarsh Vyapar Mandal gave suggestions to the District Magistrate in the meeting of Udyog Bandhu to improve the traffic system of Lucknow.
It was suggested to start a night market in Lucknow, increase the metro route in the city, increase the number of public transport vehicles and make parking mandatory in the new buildings being constructed at present.
The issue of Municipal Corporation sending wrong house tax bills to traders through GIS survey was also raised in the meeting.
A demand was also raised to shift the vending zone to another location on the parking road next to the petrol pump in Patrakar Puram and to shift the vending zone near Khajana Market Ashiana to another location.
On 2nd November, Thursday, a meeting of business community members was held in the District Magistrate Collectorate office under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Suryapal Gangwar.
The traffic system of the capital and measures to avoid traffic jams were also discussed in the meeting.
State President of Uttar Pradesh Adarsh Vyapar Mandal, Sanjay Gupta, in the meeting, suggested starting a night market in the capital, increasing the line of metro routes in the city, increasing the number of public transport vehicles and making parking mandatory in the new buildings being constructed at present.
Suggestions were given and the issue of curbing e-rickshaws also came up in the meeting.
Business leader Sanjay Gupta also complained about the Municipal Corporation sending wrong house tax bills to the traders in the name of GSI survey.
In the meeting, the issue of shifting the wedding zone created on the road in front of Patrakarpuram parking to another place and also shifting the wedding zone of Ashiana Khazana Market to another place was raised.
State President of Uttar Pradesh Adarsh Vyapar Mandal Sanjay Gupta, State Treasurer Mohammad Afzal, Trans Gomti President Anirudh Nigam and officials of other business organizations of the capital were present in the meeting.
