Lucknow DM instructs to hold health camps in old age homes
Lucknow: Just a day before the auspicious festival of Holi, Lucknow DM Surya Pal Gangwar celebrated Holi with the elderly by reaching Vyoshrestha Mandiram old age home in Sarojini Nagar. The elders got emotional after finding the DM in their midst.
On the occasion of Holi, DM Surya Pal Gangwar has given another reason to be happy to the elders of the old age home. In Vyoshrestha Mandiram old age home, the DM interacted with the elders living away from their loved ones to know their condition. During the conversation with the elders, the DM said that at this stage of age, all of you have got a big family. Everyone celebrated together. He said that a health camp will be organized soon for all your health related problems.
Not only this, the DM himself played Holi by showering flowers on the elders by taking a plate full of flowers in his hand.
During this, the elders present there also did not lag behind. The elders also applied gulal tilak to the DM and played Holi with flowers. District Magistrate Surya Pal Gangwar celebrated Holi with the elders one by one and distributed sweets to them.
The elders there blessed the DM. DM Surya Pal Gangwar looking at the health related problems of the elderly. Instructions have been given to organize health camps in old age homes.
