Lucknow DM reviews preparations as U.P.board exams kickstart
Lucknow: In view of the UP Board-2023 examination being held in district Lucknow, the District Magistrate Surya Pal Gangwar conducted a surprise inspection of various examination centers and district level control room of the district.
In view of the U.P. Board-2023 examination, the District Magistrate suddenly reached the Centennial Inter College, Queens Anglo Sanskrit Inter College and Lalbagh-based Islamia Inter College Examination Center in the first shift, and checked the examination room, examination supervisors, regarding the smooth conduct of the U.P. Board-2023 examination.
Similarly, the District Magistrate suddenly reached the district level control room set up for online monitoring of examinations in Government Girls Inter College, Government Hussainabad Inter College, Thakurganj-based Kalicharan Inter College and Government Jubilee Inter College in the second shift and reviewed the arrangements.
The District Magistrate inspected all the arrangements after reaching the examination center. Along with the above, the control rooms set up at each examination centers were also inspected by the District Magistrate. Monitoring of examination halls has also been done through the control room by the District Magistrate with the live feed of CCTV cameras.
It was informed by the District Magistrate that the live feed of all the examination halls of the district is being monitored in the district level control room. CCTV cameras of all examination halls are in working condition. No irregularity has been reported from any centre.
It was informed by the District Magistrate that for the purpose of conducting the examination peacefully and without cheating, the duty of Sector Magistrate and Zonal Magistrate has also been put on duty.
For the purpose of successfully completing the examination, 4 Zonal Magistrates, 16 Sector Magistrates, 126 Static Magistrates and 6 mobile squads have been appointed at the district level.
The District Magistrate said that the high school examination in the first shift and intermediate in the second shift are being conducted at 127 centers in the district.
In which 54907 candidates are appearing in high school and 48818 in intermediate, total 103725 candidates are appearing. The District Magistrate gave strict instructions to all the center administrators to ensure that the examination is conducted peacefully and without cheating.
Any type of negligence will not be tolerated. Instructions were given by the District Magistrate that to see the time in all the examination rooms, the arrangement of clock and adequate lighting should be ensured.
