Lucknow: The Lucknow Mayor recently inaugurated the Neki Ka Dwar to help the needy in every ward. On the occasion of the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee the Swachh Sarvekshan was done at Shringar Nagar intersection near Nirankari Ashram.
This special wall has been set up by the Municipal Corporation to help the poor and needy, whose purpose is to give the poor and needy something to be happy about. We have many such items which are new to our work, hence this wall will help in bringing shine to the lives of the unfortunate.
Inaugurating the Neki Ka Dwar on this occasion, Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia said I appeal to the councillors that you must make this wall at someplace in the ward, as well as appeal to the people of Lucknow that if you have old clothes, clean clothes, books, toys, utensils, crockery, furniture, etc., whatever you are not using, it should be useful to the needy of the city. So you contribute it to the wall of the righteousness.
While fulfilling the idea of respected Atal Behari Vajpayee, Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia dedicating the idea to Atal said that we are dedicating this noble wall to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
With the launch of the Neki ka Dwar by Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia, the Mayor donated clothes on the Neki ka Dwar after which the local people supported this virtuous work. Some of the poor got shoes, some were happy to get a coat, some shirts, a sweater and some jeans, and after receiving the same, everyone’s faces twinkled with joy.
