LUCKNOW METRO RESUMES OPERATIONS IN JUST 40 MINUTES AFTER TECHNICAL FAULT IN COUPLING

Lucknow: To bring to the kind information one and all, today morning ie.30.08.2022 (Tuesday) the services of Lucknow Metro got disrupted for 40 minutes when the train came to a halt at Lekhraj Metro station due to technical fault in coupling. The train from ‘CCS Airport Metro station towards Munshipulia Metro station’ (DOWN-LINE) inadvertently stopped at around 10:20 am at the Lekhraj Metro station.

While the services on the DOWN-LINE were disrupted due the technical fault in metro services, the services on the UP-LINE kept on running smoothly. The metro services were delayed for a brief period due to the sudden halt on the DOWN-LINE.

But due to the promptness, pro-activeness and efficiency of the maintenance & technical staff, metro services of Lucknow Metro were restored at 11 am after rectifying the coupling & technical error. UPMRC regrets the inconvenience caused to the passengers during this disruption of services due to technical glitch.
