Lucknow to get its own Puri Jagannath like temple

Lucknow: A big news related to Uttar Pradesh is coming out in the open. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made a big announcement. A grand temple will be built in Lucknow, similar to Jagannath Puri in Orissa. In this regard, UP CM Yogi Adityanath has approved 5 acres of land for the people of Odia migrant community.

Apart from this, a ‘Orissa Cultural and Research Center’ will also be built in Bijnor, Sarojininagar. In 2018, CM Yogi had announced this in the program of Odia society.

Jagannath Puri Dham of Orissa is of great importance. People also call it Baikunth of the earth. Lord Jagannath, his brother Balabhadra and his sister Subhadra are worshiped in the Jagannath temple. The idol of Lord Jagannath in the temple is situated on the right side. In the middle is the statue of his sister Subhadra and on the left is the statue of his elder brother Balabhadra.

After approving the land for this temple, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed that this temple should be made ready as soon as possible. This temple to be built in Lucknow will be very grand and at the same time officials say its beauty should also be taken care of.
