Lucknow university gets is all women cricket team, a first

Lucknow: Another chapter has been added in the history of Lucknow University, with it becoming the first institution of U.P. to get a double plus in NAAC evaluation. For the first time, a women’s cricket team has been formed in this university, which has completed a century. Vice Chancellor Professor Alok Rai said that this is a big achievement in the history of the university.

This will give a new spirit to the daughters. At the same time, Lucknow University Cricket Club President Dr Ajay Kumar Arya told that a cricket test was organized under the leadership of Professor Rupesh Kumar, Chairman of Lucknow University Athletic Association. Trial of women students on the pavilion ground has also been successful.

A total of 30 girl students from Lucknow University campus and affiliated colleges have participated in this trial. A total of 23 girl students were found suitable for the cricket camp. In this, the final selection of the 16-member team will be announced soon. He said that this is happening for the first time that the women team of Lucknow University is going to participate in the Northern Zone Cricket Tournament to be held in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh from 23rd November to 5th December 2022.
