Lucknow witness to the building of momentum ahead of the Bauma ConExpo India
Lucknow: Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, organized a special roadshow on the sidelines of Bauma ConExpo India, the biggest construction and mining trade show. With an aim to accelerate the country’s development goals, Bauma ConExpo India, one of the largest trade shows in India, is being organized which will contribute to the country’s green development agenda. This event is being organized after 4 years.
The Government of India plans to invest around $1 trillion to develop key infra projects under the National Infrastructure Pipeline. The trade show is being held at an opportune time, when large infra projects are being rapidly materialized across the country, especially in North India. Minister. Nand Gopal Gupta, Cabinet Minister – Industrial Development, Export Promotion, NRI, Investment Promotion – Uttar Pradesh, was the chief guest of the roadshow.
The roadshow was graced by Bhupinder Singh, CEO, Bauma ConExpo India, Robin Fernandes, Business Unit Head, Bauma ConExpo India, and VG Shaktikumar, Convener, ICEMA, Industry Analysis & Insights Panel, and MD, Schwing Stator Pvt. Ltd.
One of the largest trade shows in the construction machinery sector, Bauma ConExpo India 2023 is set to collaborate with central and state governments as well as leading industry associations such as ICEMA, BAI, and NAREDCO.
This edition is being supported by Minister for Road, Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari as well as National Highways Association of India (NHAI) and National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC).

The show will be held at the India Expo Center in Greater Noida where a variety of consultation sessions will be organized for the construction and mining sector. In addition, the trade show will also host specially curated roadshows in Delhi, Lucknow, Jaipur, Bangladesh and Nepal to engage with key equipment buyer communities.
It will also provide an exclusive opportunity for networking with contractors and builders in Tier 2 and 3 cities of North India through the Bharat Nirman Mahotsav. The Bharat Nirman Mahotsav promotes the trade show among the main buyer groups in these cities.
One of the major highlights of the trade show is the specially organized conference for the mining sector, which focuses exclusively on energy efficiency and safety measures. Similarly, special conclaves will also be organized for the skill development initiatives of the construction equipment industry, wherein quality employment generation in this sector will be discussed. These sessions will be finalized by industry associations and skill development councils through specialized training programmes, which will include classroom programs and practical sessions.
