Lucknow Zoo officials urge nearby residents to check cracker decibels
Lucknow: Much like humans even animals are peace loving. In Diwali time, animals face major issues when people burst high decibel firecrackers in the city or even the vicinity of their home. Zoo officials have made a humble request to the residents living near Zoological Park Lucknow that they should not burst loud crackers in the interest of living beings.
Director Zoological Park, Lucknow VK Mishra along with Regional Forest Officer, RK Negi, Stenographer, Anoop Chaturvedi, Senior Clerk Ramcharan, Junior Clerk, Shivraj Singh, Junior Clerk, Mayank Prabhakar, Garden supervisor, Abhishek Dubey and the staff of the zoological park made this fervent appeal.
They made people aware by visiting door-to-door of the residents that they should avoid loud crackers on Diwali. The officials said do not use rockets or firecrackers that go up and explode. with such firecrackers neighboring wildlife is at risk of being harmed. Even if you celebrate, you can make less sound.
By running more firecrackers, sparklers, etc., the pollution in the environment is spread. Along with this, the wildlife of the zoological park living around you also have trouble. The Director of the zoo said this wildlife is yours. We all have the responsibility to keep them healthy. Let’s celebrate Eco Green Diwali and help in keeping the environment healthy.
