Lucknow Zoo organizes event to make youngsters aware about the cheetah
Lucknow: In a bid to make youngsters awareness in college/school about the importance of cheetah and its presence in India and Nawab Wajid Ali Shah Zoological Park, Lucknow an awareness campaign was held to make people sensitive. The program was organized by Neena Kumar, Education Officer at Swami Vivekananda Inter College, Ashiana, Lucknow. School children enthusiastically participated in the program. The children were told that cheetahs cannot climb trees because of their straight nails. On this occasion pamphlets related to cheetah were also distributed. 8-10 cheetahs from Namibia and South Africa, will be released in National Park in Madhya Pradesh. In the discussion, questions were asked from the students, in which the winners were awarded medals.
