Mumbai: The not so angry old man Amitabh Bachchan has recently set the rumour mills churning after he posted a blog on his site where he has written, undergoing a surgery due to a “medical condition.” The 78-year-old actor did not reveal if the medical procedure is complete as of now. “Medical condition …Surgery … Can’t write,” Amitabh Bachchan wrote in his blog entry.
Bachchan has reasonably large fanbase and he has made it a habit to connect with them on a regular basis. As soon as he wrote this, his fans on social media started wishing the actor a speedy recovery.
It is worth noting that Big B as he is called had announced last year that he and three other members of his family – Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Big B’s 9-year-old granddaughter had contracted COVID-19.
The family underwent treatment at Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital until their recovery.
Big B in recent times has kept himself busy with shooting of his forthcoming project Mayday, co-starring Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh.
In the past he has been in news for his much reported first accident with actor Puneet Issar on the sets of film Coolie in the late 80s.
During lockdown he also worked in a motivational music video by Varun Siddhant and music composer Jazim Sharma called Guzar Jayega and it went viral.
The star was last seen in Shoojit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo, co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana. He was also seen hosting the 12th season of the TV quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati 12 also.
