Lucknow: Adding more spunk to the shooting scene in the city is the news that the ‘mahurat’ clap for ‘India In My Veins’ a biopic on Prime Minister Narendra Modi was recently organized at a five-star hotel in Lucknow in the presence of Uttar Pradesh’s law minister Brijesh Pathak.
It is learnt from reliable sources that a major part of the film will be shot in UP, Haryana and Punjab. The producer and director of the film, Subhash Malik has been quoted saying – it is an attempt to thank PM Modi for the work he has done for the country.
Subhash Malik has been in the film industry for 27 years and is the one who this year started a Ramlila in Ayodhya, featuring film stars. He has been planning a biopic on the PM for sometime now. The film will showcase Modi’s achievements since he became Prime Minister in 2014 said Brajesh Pathak.
The film features Captain (retd) Raj Mathur, Raza Murad, Surendra Pal of ‘Dronacharya’ fame, Vindu Dara Singh, Amita Nangia and others.
The film also focuses on the Kashmir issue and how well it was addressed.
