Make adequate arrangements for the treatment of respiratory and heart patients: Brajesh Pathak
Deputy Chief Minister issued instructions to hospitals and medical colleges across the state
Lucknow: The cold is slowly increasing. In such a situation, the possibility of increasing heart and respiratory patients increases. Government hospitals and medical colleges should make concrete arrangements for the treatment of heart and respiratory patients. Doctors and paramedical staff should be ready for 24 hours emergency. Strict action will be taken against those showing any kind of negligence in duty.
Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak gave these instructions to the officers of all medical colleges and government hospitals. The Deputy Chief Minister said that better treatment was provided to respiratory and heart patients in OPD and emergency. Free pathology and radiology test facilities should be made available to patients in government hospitals. Medicines should be provided. Adequate doctor-paramedical staff should be deployed in emergency.
Respiratory patients need more oxygen. In such a situation, keep a strong arrangement of oxygen in the hospitals. Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said that additional arrangement of cylinders should be made in the hospitals where oxygen is being supplied through pipeline. Patients should not be inconvenienced under any circumstances. Liquid oxygen plant, oxygen concentrator should also work properly. Officers should test the equipment from time to time.
Patients with severe shortness of breath need to be placed on a BiPAP. Make arrangement for big hospital bipap machine. So that better treatment can be provided to respiratory patients on time. To find out the amount of oxygen in the blood, AB test should also be ensured. Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said that ECG and echo test should also be ensured. Tropty test should also be done in fixed centers to detect heart attack. 108 and 102 ambulance services should also work in alert mode.
