Many colours of India’s Republic presented at Raj Bhawan
Lucknow: A cultural program was held on the auspicious evening of Republic Day on January 26, 2023 in the large lawn of Raj Bhavan in the dignified presence of State Governor Anandiben Patel. In this program which lasted till late evening, along with the children of Raj Bhavan officials, employees and teachers, children who were taking dance, music and acting lessons also presented songs, dances and plays filled with patriotism.
The program was inaugurated by the Governor with the message of water conservation by making water flow in Matki. Speaking on the occasion, the Governor praised the excellent presentation of all the participating children. She said that for the last three years, the tradition of presentation on Independence Day by the children of Raj Bhavan was started. Since then she has improved to the level of a skilled artist in children’s productions.
Appreciating the drama presentation presented on the story of a rebel soldier near Kanpur regarding the passion of freedom fighters, she said that this is the real presentation of that passion of freedom fighters. We should remember that this freedom has been achieved by everyone’s collective struggle. It is our responsibility to maintain it and take the country forward. We have to create a society without discrimination and try only for the development of the country.
Praising the collective presentation of the children, the Governor specially praised the pure spirit of the children without any discrimination. She said that there is no high and low among children. It is the elders of the family who teach them this discrimination. She said that our constitution gives equal rights to all. The Constitution teaches us equality, tolerance, patriotism and goodwill. Let us all move forward with this spirit. In his address, the Governor congratulated everyone on Republic Day and Basant Panchami.
All the officers, employees of Raj Bhavan, their family members and guests were present on the occasion.
