Mass resignations roil Asaduddin Owaisi’s Party

Lucknow: Bad news for Asaduddin Owaisi from Uttar Pradesh. In Prayagraj, many workers of Asaduddin Owaisi’s party AIMIM will give mass resignation today i.e. on Tuesday. It is being told that all the AIMIM workers associated with the district and city committee in Prayagraj will leave the party. There is displeasure among the workers due to the lack of intervention by the state leadership in the violence that took place after the Friday prayers in Prayagraj on June 10, due to which all of them will resign.

Party leaders of Prayagraj claim that more than 100 workers of Owaisi’s party will resign collectively. If this happens, then it will be no less than a big setback for Asaduddin Owaisi, who is trying to strengthen his foundation in UP. A case has been registered against AIMIM district president Shah Alam and Zeeshan Rahmani in the violence case on June 10.

Not only this, non-bailable warrants are also issued against both Shah Alam and General Secretary Zeeshan Rahmani. Along with this, a reward of 25-25 thousand rupees has also been announced on both of them. It is said that only the supporters, officials and leaders of Shah Alam will resign. These workers allege that no help is being given to the leaders who have been accused in this case by the party.

However, some big leaders are trying to persuade the angry leaders. It is believed that today i.e. Tuesday at 4:00 pm, there is a program to resign collectively. Now it remains to be seen whether the state leadership is able to overcome their displeasure and prevent them from resigning. Let us tell you that after the Friday prayers on June 10, there was a lot of ruckus, arson and stone pelting in the Atala area.
