Lucknow: Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia launched a unit of Seva Prakalp, Samrat Vikramaditya Seva Sansthan, inspired by Seva Bharti, at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences. The workers of the Seva Kendra would come work in the unit in a room next to the emergency of Lohia Hospital. Free stretcher and wheelchair services will be provided to the patients. Patients coming from outside will be able to take advantage of the above service by submitting their Aadhar card.
Om Prakash Pandey, the convener of the Seva Kendra, said that on December 16, 2019, the first unit of the Seva Sansthan was inaugurated in King George’s Medical University by Governor Anandiben Patel. Since then, the fifth service center of this service institution is going to start.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia thanked the director of the institute, Dr. Sonia Nityanand, for starting the service center and said that you have played your part in the service work by giving a place to this service institution. This institute is definitely better for the patients. The mayor further said that she herself is also committed to co-operation and participation in this service. Service to the patients is Narayan Seva. This is the most virtuous work.
Dr. Girish Gupta, President of the New Year Chetna Samiti, the founder of Seva Sansthan, told that if patients get such service in the name of Emperor Vikramaditya, the exponent of Vikram Samvat, then the importance of the Indian New Year will also be exposed.
On this occasion, Dr. Rajan Bhatnagar, CMS of the Institute along with the Mayor, Dr. Sanjay Bhatt, President of the Department of Surgery, Dr. VK Sharma, in-charge of Blood Bank, Pushkar Kesarwani, President of the Department of Seva Bharti Lucknow, Dr. Narendra Agarwal, President of the Seva Sansthan, Lohia Institute’s Dr. A.
