Amethi : Under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Rakesh Kumar Mishra, a meeting of the District Task Force Committee of Pulse Polio Pratiksha Abhiyan – 2022 was held in the Collectorate Auditorium.
In the meeting, the District Magistrate said that September 18, 2022 would be celebrated as Booth Day, for which all preparations should be completed in time. The Pulse Polio rally was flagged off by the Chief Medical Officer.
The District Magistrate said that door-to-door visits would be done by the teams from September 19 to 23, 2022. Work will be done by B team from 26 September.
The total number of polio booths in the district is 914, the number of house-to-house tour teams is 597, the number of mobile teams is 26, the number of transit teams is 23, supervisors 196 have been deployed under whose supervision the campaign will be carried out by the teams.
The number of children identified for the campaign is 316224 and a target of 348770 houses has been set in the campaign.
Vaccines and logistics will be distributed to all the teams on September 17 for the successful completion of the campaign. During the meeting, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Medical Superintendent, Additional Chief Medical Officer, S.M.O. (WHO) Education Department. Community health center superintendent and other concerned officials including ICDS were present.
