Lucknow: BJP is making big preparations to win the assembly elections of Uttar Pradesh. In the state, BJP is preparing to do booth level management and for this the party has decided to appoint Panna Pramukhs in 1.63 crore booths. As an organization very strong BJP has decided to reach out to every booth in the elections.
In such a situation, BJP has decided to appoint Panna Pramukhs. These people will be given the responsibility of contacting voters at every booth. They will be entrusted with the task of taking out the voters in the elections and taking them to the booth. These people are currently being given training, which will be completed by the end of this month.
The BJP leadership has decided to convene a three-day conference of Panna Pramukhs in the second week of October. These conferences will be organized all over the state. The BJP has always considered the strategy of Panna Pramukh to be effective. Even in the Narayanpura assembly seat of Gujarat this has been effective. Panna Pramukhs are assigned the responsibility of 30 houses in a way. The party has been deploying 10 to 15 panna chiefs at one booth. In the UP assembly elections, the party is once again preparing to focus on this tried-and-tested strategy.
Party sources say that this time the BJP is preparing to manage the elections at the micro level. Under this, one person included in each list will be given the responsibility of Panna Pramukh. A senior party leader said, “We have decided in this election that our page will be a voter in the list of prominent voters. A Panna Pramukh will be decided among 60 voters, who he will talk to, motivate the party to vote and take them to the booth to vote. The party has focused on this strategy to make its place among the voters. Under this, a person from among the voters is made the Panna Pramukh.
The concept of Panna Pramukh was given by BJP Chief Amit Shah. Taking this forward, recently JP Nadda started the booth victory campaign. Elections are going to be held in UP next year. It is important for the BJP to retain its power in the state even in the run-up to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. In 2017, the party had won 312 out of 403 seats. The BJP was a big success by getting 39.67 per cent votes. On the other hand, SP got only 47 seats and BSP got only 19 seats.
