Minister Asim Arun acknowledges role teachers play in society
Lucknow: Teachers and the education system work together to make a child a better citizen. It is a matter of good fortune for all of us that both the President of our country, Draupadi Murmu and the Governor of our state, Anandiben Patel, have been working to give a new direction to the society as teachers before coming into political life. These things were said by the Minister of State for Social Welfare (Independent Charge) Asim Arun at the teachers’ felicitation ceremony organized at Bhagidari Bhawan on the occasion of Teacher’s Day.
Addressing the program, Arun said, Chief Minister Abhyudaya Coaching has been opened in each school to prepare the children of Sarvadaya Vidyalaya for competitive examinations. Coaching children are also being given tabs for better preparation.
This session will be the year of specialization for various educational institutions being run by the Social Welfare Department. The administrative deficiencies which are coming to the fore in improving the quality of education will be removed soon.
On this occasion, 46 teachers of Sarvadaya Vidyalaya were felicitated for their excellent teaching work. 15 children who scored more than 90 percent marks in 10th and 12th board exams were also awarded on the occasion. Principal Secretary of the department Dr. Hariom, Secretary Sameer Verma, Director Pawan Kumar and a large number of teachers were present in the programme.
