Minister Kaushal Kishore hears out power employee woes patiently

Lucknow: Electricity Contract Employees Federation will boycott work from 13 to 15 March. The organization’s president RS Rai has told the media that the notice of work boycott has been given to the government and energy management by the organization regarding the 12-point demands of 70,000 contract workers working through outsourcing in energy corporations.

The federation demanded equal pay for equal work to the contract workers. 20 lakh compensation should be given to the dependent of the deceased in the electrical accident. The service period should be increased from 55 years to 60 years. This information was given by the federation’s media in-charge Puneet Rai.

Union Minister of State Kaushal Kishore heard the electricity problems of the complainants at PWD Guest House Arjunpur.
