MoS Kaushal Kishore to act as bridge between Government and Shikshamitras
Lucknow: About 1.25 lakh Shikshamitras from all the districts of the state participated at a show of strength in the Ramabai Ambedkar Maidan in Lucknow and presented their demands. They said that we have been contributing in the field of education since 22 years. Our honorarium should also be equal to the salary of teachers.
Shikshamitras from all over the state demonstrated their strength by holding a grand conference at Ramabai Ambedkar Maidan. Various organizations of Shikshamitras gathered on one platform and demanded a secure future from the government. At the same time, Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs Kaushal Kishore, who reached the conference, talked about talking to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and education ministers of the central and state governments for increasing the honorarium of Shikshamitras. He said that we have to gather again in this ground thrice.
The Minister of State said that being misled by some people, many Shikshamitras had opposed the BJP in the previous elections.
Despite this, the BJP government increased their honorarium. Shikshamitras should cooperate with the BJP government. The party and the government will try to do better for them.
He said that this condition of Shikshamitras has happened because of the wrong policy of the SP government. If instead of declaring Shikshamitras as assistant teachers, the then government had equalized the salaries of their teachers, they would not have been in such a condition today. MLC Sanjay Nishad said that stay with the government, your problems will be solved.
MLC Dhruv Kumar Tripathi, Primary Shikshamitra Sangh State President Shivkumar Shukla, Executive Provincial President of Adarsh Adjusted Teacher Shiksha Mitra Welfare Association Uttar Pradesh Vishwanath Singh, State President of Distance BTC Teachers Association Anil Yadav were present in the conference. At the same time thousands of Shikshamitras including Santosh Kumar Mishra, Syed Javed, Suman Yadav, Reena Singh, Avneesh Singh were also present.
