Motion Education is rapidly recruiting under its expansion plans across the country

Lucknow: In view of the rapidly growing demand for Ed-Tech, Motion Education which prepares students for JEE-Main, JEE-Advanced and NEET competitive exams, the company has launched 50+ jobs across the country in FY23. New study centers are planned to be opened. Keeping this growth in mind, the company will also recruit a large number of talented candidates. These new centers have 50 locations; Will be opened mainly in Hindi speaking areas of northern India, with which its total number of centers will reach 100 in the current financial year. The company will recruit around 1900 people in Admin, Content Development, Sales, Educators and IT departments. It is expected that these new recruitments will help in increasing the reach to the students, while also improving the efficiency of the existing business model of the company. The company also plans to triple the number of admissions to 35,000 during FY23 and will also expand its portfolio in Dubai and Saudi Arabia.

Motion education will mainly give priority to these areas- UP (Kanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi etc.), Bihar (Patna, Gaya, Begusarai etc.), Uttarakhand (Dehradun, Roorkee, Haldwani), Jharkhand (Bokaro, Dhanbad, Hazirabad etc.), Rajasthan (Jaipur, Udaipur, Bikaner, Bhilwara, Jodhpur etc.), Haryana (Panipat, Rewari, Jind etc.), Delhi, NCR and Punjab (Chandigarh, Jalandhar, Amritsar), Maharashtra (Mumbai, Pune, Latur, Nanded, Amravati, Akola etc.) ), MP (Bhopal, Jabalpur, Indore etc.). Apart from this, the company has also made expansion plans in Southern India (Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala) and North-East Indian states.

Motion Education recorded 20% profit in the financial year 2021-22 with revenue of more than Rs.80 crores, during which the company opened 55 study centers across the country and added 15,000 students and over 1200 employees. In the 15 years since its inception, the company has helped over 2,50,000 students crack JEE and NEET exams. In the last two years, Motion Education has registered a rapid increase in the number of admissions. The number of students of the company was 10,000 in 2021, which increased by 50 percent to 15,000 in 2022. The institute expects to do 35,000 new admissions with 50 new centers.

Commenting on the announcement, Nitin Vijay, Founder & CEO, Motion Education, said, “This is a part of our 100 crore investment plans under which the company plans to expand in FY 2023. We will also invest in technology and teacher training to enhance academic quality. In the last two years, the company has registered a growth of 200 per cent in classroom programs and nearly 1000 per cent in e-learning. Our expansion plans reflect our commitment to organic growth. Today, when ad-tech start-ups are making the noise of raising funds, Motion Education has set an example in the industry by generating profits year after year.”

In December 2007, entrepreneur Nitin Vijay founded Motion Education with a seed capital of Rs 1 lakh, four employees and 700 students, he holds an engineering degree from IIT-BHU.

Today the institute has 55 physical coaching centers across the country in Assam, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Jammu and Kashmir and Gujarat. The company continues to excel in the ad-tech environment by launching several customized programs with hybrid learning models.

Most of the expenditure is done on manpower, infrastructure and marketing. One setter trains around 1000 students in JEE and NEET courses. The average duration of the batch ranges from 10 months to 2 years, and the course fee ranges from Rs 50,000 to 2 lakhs. The area of ​​the large center is about 5000 square feet, with 6-8 classrooms. The small branches have an area of ​​2500 square feet and have 3-4 classrooms.

“Due to the Covid-19 crisis, the revenue of the industry was affected. However, we have rapidly adapted ourselves to the ed-tech and students are also accepting this change. Due to which we have also registered an increase in the revenue by registering about 50 percent increase in the number of students. Keeping in view these trends, we expect to register a growth of Rs 150 crore with 20 per cent return in the current financial year,” said Mr. Nitin Vijay, Founder & CEO, Motion Education.
