MP feels the heat as star campaigners in West Bengal elections miss the bus

Bhopal: As Didi and Dada continue to fight pitched battles in West Bengal, the clash seems to be having a ripple effect in the state of Madhya Pradesh.

The ruling and opposition camps in Madhya Pradesh are hitting out at each other over who made it to the star campaigners’ list.

In a sharp jibe at the opposition, the ruling BJP attacked the Congress after veteran chief and former chief minister Kamal Nath was dropped as a star campaigner in the Bengal polls. In a rebuttal, the Congress has now returned the favour.

The grand old party has shared an image of BJP campaigners in West Bengal, the Congress took a jibe at Rajya Sabha MP Jyotiraditya Scindia, who it claimed has solely fallen in political stature after a switch over to the saffron camp.

Scindia is like an uninvited visitor within the BJP, mentioned Congress spokesperson Ajay Singh Yadav hinting on the former royal’s identify.

Whereas Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan finds 14th place and Kailash Vijayvargiya has been positioned on ninth spot.

Scindia has been included within the record solely as a symbolic gesture , mentioned Yadav, including MP leaders like Narottam Mishra and Faggan Singh Kulaste who have been campaigning in Bengal for nearly two months.

Congress chief and Rajya Sabha MP Digvijaya Singh had lately mentioned Scindia was a ‘maharaj’ (king) within the grand outdated social gathering, whereas the BJP has turned him into ‘bhaisahab’.

How Scindia reacts to the jibe remains to be seen.
