MP Maneka Gandhi lends solution seekers a patient ear
Sultanpur: In order to bring the intention of the Central and State Government on the ground, former Union Minister and Sultanpur MP Maneka Sanjay Gandhi, on the third and last day of her tour, organized a program of Jan Chaupal on a large scale and redressed public problems.
Kudwar and Baldirai Officers of all the departments including Police, Revenue, Rural Development, Electricity, Ration, Pension on the same table in the Jan Choupals set up at the block headquarters, resolved the complaints of the public quickly.
Gandhi directed the district administration to solve the serious problems. One month’s time has been given. On the initiative of the MP, more than two hundred problems were resolved in a single day.
During this, a large number including Project Director KK Pandey, CMO DDO Ajay Pandey, SDM Sadar CP Pathak, Baldirai Mahendra Srivastava Officers from various departments were present in the meeting. Gandhi directed SDM Sadar for investigation on the complaint received against Kotedar of Bahmarpur, Director Civil Hospital Lucknow for leg operation on the application of Amit Kumar of Daudpur village, Ramjatan Nishad in Bahalolpur of the house wrote a letter to the SP to register an FIR on the possibility of killing a 19-year-old boy by hanging him from a tree.

Earlier, MP Maneka Gandhi distributed 117 tricycles and other artificial devices to the Divyangs in Kudwar block. Mrs. Gandhi bathes pregnant women, newborn babies.
Nutritional food was also distributed to the people suffering from food poisoning and TB.
Member of Parliament Gandhi said that most of the complaints have been found related to housing, revenue and police. He informed that so far one lakh 40 thousand houses have been distributed in Sultanpur district.
By March 31, 8000 more houses will be distributed. He assured that houses will be given to all the beneficiaries by the month of September. Smt. Gandhi said that the people of the area will have to refrain from drinking milk. Because milch animals are becoming weak due to continuous oxytocin vaccine. Due to which he has been suffering from Brucellosis disease. A large number of people are suffering from tuberculosis disease due to their milk. Investigation of such animals is essential.
