Mukhyamantri Bal Sewa Yojana commenced under PM Modi’s vision: CM Yogi
Gorakhpur/Lucknow : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the State Government’s sensitivity is building a strong society in Uttar Pradesh. adding that initiatives like Mukhyamantri Bal Sewa Yojana and Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao bear testimony to this.
The Chief Minister during his visit to Gorakhpur conducted the distribution of laptops to 82 beneficiaries of Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana, presented prize money to meritorious girl students and distributed sports kits to 20 Mahila Mangal Dals under the Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao Yojana.
Addressing a gathering on the occasion, Yogi Adityanath said that the state government commenced the Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana with the inspiration of PM Modi for all those children who had lost either or both of their parents during the Covid-19 period.
Under the Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana, Rs 4000 per month is being given as scholarship to those children whose parents, either one or both, died due to the pandemic while Rs 2500 per month is being given to those in the general category who lost their parents due to other reasons during the pandemic. Under this scheme, the process of giving laptops to the students studying in class 9th or above has been started.
CM Yogi said that Covid-19 had caused great devastation all over the world. There is no country where a large number of deaths have not taken place. “Amid these crises, India, the world’s largest democracy, presented the best model of covid-19 management under the leadership of PM Modi. Arrangements were made for free test, free treatment, free vaccine and free ration. Even today 80 crore people in the country are getting the benefit of free ration. More than 200 crore vaccine doses were given free of cost.”, CM Yogi said.
The Chief Minister informed that in Gorakhpur, 603 children are getting the benefit of Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana and 218 under Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana (General). A total of 115 children were given laptops in 2021-22, while 82 children got it on Monday.
Inspiring the children, CM Yogi said that there was a need to forget the calamity of Covid-19, and move forward in a new direction. “After completing the age of 18 years, you will also get an amount from PM Cares Fund till the age of 23 years. Although, no one can fill the void in your lives created by loss of parents, the amount given by the government will be your strength. This reveals the sensitivity of the government towards you.”
The Chief Minister said that ‘Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao’ is the mantra of PM Modi. Under this, daughters, institutions and Mahila Mangal Dals who are performing excellently are being encouraged today. Playgrounds are being made in every village so that daughters also become physically and mentally healthy. Mahila Mangal Dal will play an important role in this. The government is trying to connect every gram panchayat with sports kit.
The Chief Minister said that the double-engine government is providing free education to girls. Along with this, a package of Rs 15,000 has been made under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana from the birth of the girl child till her graduation. Rs 51,000 are given under the Mukhyamantri Samuhik Vivah scheme when the girl is eligible for marriage.
CM Yogi said that today the schools of Uttar Pradesh have become visible. Arrangements have been made for smart classes, good flooring, toilets, pure drinking water through Operation Kayakalp. He said that children are the form of God. It is the effort of the government to make their future bright by improving them so that they can contribute to the prosperity of their village, society and country.
While congratulating everyone on Holi, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the auspicious festival of Holi inspires people to forget enmity and move forward with enthusiasm.
All the children present at the event got a special gift from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The Chief Minister directed the administration that after providing breakfast to all these children today, they should be taken on a tour of the Gorakhpur Zoo.
CM Yogi visited the stalls of the Basic Education Department, Child Development Project etc. in the outer premises of the venue. On this occasion, he also got baby showers and Annaprashan done for the children. Along with talking to the children of basic schools, he also presented them with gifts.
