Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, Akhilesh Yadav lock horns over GIS 2023 barb
Lucknow: The war of words is intensifying in UP between the political parties engaged in preparations for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Samajwadi Party’s National President Akhilesh Yadav had raised the issue of increased fares of UP Roadways buses through a tweet. He wrote tauntingly that by increasing the fare by 24%, the government wants to extract the expenses of the Investors Summit from the public’s pocket. A day after this tweet, Yogi Adityanath government’s Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Nandi gave a scathing reply to Akhilesh Yadav through his tweet. Nandi wrote- ‘The throne can be inherited but not wisdom.’
Not only this, the minister also wrote that Samajwadi Party used to organize Saifai festival with public money. While the BJP is conducting the summit. In another tweet, Nandi wrote- ‘The economy of Uttar Pradesh will get a new height by organizing the Global Investor Summit and the youth of the state will get new employment opportunities. In your visionless and directionless SP government, the people of the state know very well how the hard earned money of the people was looted in the Saifai Festival. Nandi made these tweets calling Akhilesh’s allegations as absurd.
