National P.G. College lets creative juices flow at National Science Day event
Lucknow: On the occasion of National Science Day in National PG College, a National Level Essay Competition Honor Ceremony, Poster Competition and Slogan Competition were organized by the students of Geography Department and Masters. The topic was related to the importance of electric vehicles in the future.
As the chief guests of the program, Prof. Poonam Tandon, Head of Physics Department, Lucknow University, Arun Pratap Singh, Convener of Bharatiya Janata Party, Hemu Chaurasia {Secretary of Gayatri Public Service and Social Worker} College Principal, Prof. Devendra Singh, and Head of Geography, Prof. PK Singh, Dr. Ritu Jain, Dr. Abhishek Kumar Singh, Dr. Amit Kumar Gupta and other teachers were also present.
In the programme, Poonam Tandon praised the school and explained the importance of science on Science Day. Principal of the school, Devendra Singh kept his views on the future of electric vehicles and also made people aware about it.
BJP convenor Arun Pratap Singh discussed about the status of women in the society and also gave his mobile number to the present women for redressal of their problems.
National level Avani Essay Competition was organized and in this competition Calcutta University, Aligarh Muslim University, Miranda House, Delhi University, Banaras Hindu University, I.T. College Lucknow, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, students of Lucknow Shri Ramswaroop Memorial College and other national level universities participated. The result of this competition was announced on 22-02-23 and the first 15 students in the competition were honored at the felicitation ceremony, in which first place went to Navneet Mishra (Lucknow) 2nd place Tiyasha Shah (Calcutta), and 3rd place Anushka Singh (Bhopal) and other students were also awarded.
More than 400 students and their parents were present in this program. Coordinators of this program Saurabh Singh, Aman Shukla, Pooja Patel Jyoti Pal, Aditya Sharma , Ankita Singh, Shreya Singh Devanshi, Ayush Sunil and Archana Yadav were also present and this program was successfully organized in the presence of teacher of Geography Department.
