National P.G. College organizes a program to foster patriotic spirit in youngsters

Lucknow: In a program organized by the National Service Scheme under the leadership of the principal of the college at National PG College, Lucknow on August 3, 2022, the students were inspired to hoist the tricolor in at least 10 houses around their house.

The idea behind this campaign is to inculcate the feeling of patriotism in the minds of the people and celebrate the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi with the spirit of public participation.

Anju Chitranshi, Adolescent Health Consultant, Veerangana Avanti Bai Mahila Chikitsalaya, (Duffrin) addressed the students on World Breastfeeding Week from Avanti Bai Women’s Hospital, (Duffrin) about HPV Vaccine to protect against breast lump, uterine cancer. She gave detailed information about menstruation, anaemia, balanced diet and contraception. The entire program was organized by the Program Officer of National Service Scheme, Dr. Shweta Sinha, Assistant Professor Computer Department, Dr. Archana Singh, Assistant Professor Department of Zoology and Dr. Reena Srivastava Assistant Professor, Department of Education. During the program, the health related questions of the students were answered by Anju Madam, the counselor.
