Naxalite Hotbed Soon To Be Eco Tourism Hub

Lucknow: Domestic and foreign tourists coming to Kashi will now enjoy Jungle Safari along with Ganga Vihar. They will do trekking. Amidst the dense forest, you will be able to see the animals coming to drink water at the lake and waterfall. Every facility will be available. Adventure with tigers, leopards, crocodiles and four-horned deer, birds like vultures and grey-headed fish eagles, and a kid-friendly play park on the hills will add to your experience. Just 50 km from Varanasi, a wild life eco-tourism destination will be built in Chan Patar (stone) valley on the UP-Bihar border. Once a hotbed of Naxalites, now it will play the role of an eco tourist destination.

This area comes in the Kaimur range of the Vindhyan hills. Here is the Karmnasha river, next to which Karkatgarh village is situated. This place is the natural home of 75 crocodiles.  Once upon a time Mughal and British officers used to come here for hunting. A luxurious bungalow was also built here during the British period.
