Sonebhadra: Sonebhadra, surrounded by natural beauty all around with greenery and mountains is still suffering from shortcomings in terms of basic facilities and is cut off from the rest of the district. It is a village in Sonebhadra, where sunrise is one hour later and night starts one hour earlier. After the arrival of the District Magistrate Chandravijay Singh here recently, where initiatives were taken in the village regarding roads, education, medicine and electricity, after 76 years of independence, the work of connecting the village with mobile network has also started at a rapid pace.
Notably the Chief Minister of the state, Yogi Adityanath, who reached Sonebhadra recently had instructed the officers to provide basic facilities to the last mile of the district and especially to the residents of tribal dominated areas, to provide the benefits of Forest Rights Act. In continuation of this, the District Magistrate had visited Chaura village situated on the Bihar border, surrounded by mountains on all sides and surrounded by nature. Arrangements have been made for education of 20 girls and eight boys who were deprived of further education in the village which had only primary class facilities for education. Some of these girls are those who have left studies for two to five years after completing class five.
