New era begins with e-transportation of minerals in the mining department
Lucknow: Director, Geology and Mining Department, Dr. Roshan Jacob said that in order to make the mining and transportation system of secondary minerals more transparent, simple and effective, in keeping with the intention of the Chief Minister, e-transportation of minerals has been started in the mining department. The system of issuing transport forms is being modified and made more transparent, effective and simple.
Till now e-transport forms have been printed on ordinary paper, in which there was a possibility of misuse of forms due to any reason. To prevent this, the system of security paper with security features has been implemented in the state. To implement the system, provisions have been made on the EMM-11 module of the departmental portal Mine Mitra’s online mineral management system.
The security paper will be of A-4 size, in which the e-transportation form has been designed to be printed in triplicate in Portrait Mode. The first copy will be valid for the use of the lessee, the second self-for the use of the transporter/consumer/storage/executive organization and the third copy for the use of the examiner. He said that the facility of demanding security paper at the login of the Conveyance holder/license holder/storage has been made available.
After acceptance of the desired demand of the transport forms by the security paper supplier, the remittance holder will have to deposit Rs.4.19 (Rupees Four Nineteen Paise only) per security paper through the payment gateway in the bank account of the supplier. After payment in the bank account of the supplier, the security paper will be sent by the supplier to the address of the remit holder/license holder/storer.
It will be mandatory to enter the details of the post sent by the security paper supplier, such as the name of the courier company, the tracking ID, on the portal, the information of which will be available on the registered mobile number and the login of the waiver holder. While supplying the security paper, the security number will be mapped against the ID of the recipient and e-transport form will not be issued again on one security number. E-transport forms will be issued against the mapped security number only.
The specialty is that on photocopying of e-transport form issued on security paper, it will be easy to identify the photocopy and no one will be able to misuse the photocopied form under any circumstances, which will facilitate effective curbing of illegal mining/transportation and duplication of e-transportation forms will be completely curbed, due to which the government will get revenue. There will be more growth as well.
Additional Director Geology and Mining Vipin Kumar Jain said that UV light torches are being arranged in all the districts of the state to check e-transport forms generated on security paper. M/s Gemini Graphics Hyderabad has been selected for the supply of security paper. E-transport system of Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states have been studied to implement the system in the state and this process has been implemented on pilot basis in Kanpur Dehat. After the success of which this system has been implemented in the entire state.
