The Indian Railways continues to make changes every day in its working. To make good use of technology now the railway is moving towards being hi-tech. In recent days it has adopted a new method for cleaning the coaches. This will save water as well as save time.
This new intiative is being seen as a means to give back to the environmnent. Now railways have installed automatic washing plants at many stations. With this, now many coaches will be able to wash and clean the train in minutes.
In its latest tweet the Railway Ministry has shared a video where information has been given about starting Automatic Coach Washing Plant in Gandhidham Coaching Depot of Gujarat.
According to the railways, with this modern technology, the washing of train coaches will be of high quality in a short time. Along with this, up to 80% water can also be saved.
Further the new age washing technique will help reducing the time, water and manpower. Washing work can be done easily outside the depot from the automatic coach washing plant.
The Railways plans to expand the facility across Indian railway stations. With the arrival of this automatic machine, all the railway bougies can be washed in less time, this will save time as well as save water.
