Neymar Jr’s Stitch in time
Mexico: Neymar Jr. first scored a penalty and then converted it into a goal as Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) held on to a 1-1 draw with Monaco in a French Football League match, despite being behind for most of the time. Neymar played the match on Sunday. Monaco defender Guillermo Maripan scored a penalty on Lionel Messi’s pass.
The referee did not give a penalty earlier but after the video review, he did give a penalty to PSG which Neymar did not make any mistake in converting the goal. This is Neymar’s sixth goal in the French league and eighth overall in the last five games. PSG now have 10 points and are ahead of arch-rivals Marcelli and Lens in goal difference. Luck did not favor Monaco and they had to share points despite scoring in the 20th minute.
