Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given orders to strictly follow the night curfew. Actually, this order has been given in view of the increasing cases of coronavirus infection in Maharashtra and Kerala. Although the cases of corona are continuously decreasing in the state as compared to other states, but in the meeting with Team-9, it has been asked to strictly follow the Covid protocol.
The CM has ordered that now from 9 o’clock in the night, the police team will alert the people and shopkeepers to close the shop by sounding a hooter, so that the shops should be closed by 10 o’clock. At the same time, people should not roam unnecessarily in the market during the night.
CM Yogi said this while meeting with Team-9 in Lucknow on Thursday. Whether it is an active case or the matter of testing and vaccination, it is the result of the timely decisions taken by the state government that today UP, which has the highest population, is at the top in controlling corona from other states.
Today, 2.5 lakh corona tests are being done daily in the state, rapidly increasing the testing capacity in a short time. So far 7,10,73,105 corona tests have been done in the state. In the last 24 hours, 187218 Covid samples were investigated in which 22 new cases were found. The number of active Covid cases in the state has now come down from 400 to 345. Which is much better than other states.
Keeping in mind the third wave, the Yogi government is busy finalizing its preparations. Medical facilities are being increased rapidly with the control of the first and second wave of corona in the state. So at the same time, 342 oxygen plants have been made functional in the entire state in view of the possible third wave.
