No power woes this Holi festival, CM calls for strict compliance
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced a big gift to the people of the state on the occasion of Holi. CM Yogi has given instructions to the UP Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) that on the occasion of Holi festival i.e. from March 7 to 9, there will be uninterrupted power supply in the entire state. Keeping these instructions of the CM in mind, Chairman M Devraj has ordered all the officers to follow the orders of the Chief Minister. He has also said that action will be taken against the officers if there is a power cut.
On March 8, this festival will be celebrated with pomp across the country. This time the people of the state will not have to face power cuts on this festival, because CM Yogi has announced cut-free uninterrupted power supply in the state from March 7 to 9. Cut-free power supply will be made in the entire state from 6 pm on March 7 to 7 am on March 9. UPPCL Chairman M. Devaraj said that clear orders have been given to the officers of all discoms for uninterrupted power supply in the entire state on Holi.
Action will be taken against officials for power cut
The Managing Directors of all DISCOMs have been directed by the Chairman of UPPCL to take all necessary action to ensure uninterrupted power supply without interruption. It has also been directed that immediate action should be taken on the information/complaints received regarding supply on 1912 toll free number. There should be no laxity in smooth power supply on the occasion of Holi. M Devraj has said that if there is a power cut anywhere in these three days, strict action will be taken against the officials.
