Noted Buddhist scholar distributes Indian flags among tinytots

Lucknow: Internationally renowned scholar Bhante Bodhi Priya Tissa, who is famous for his soft-spokenness, virtue and wisdom, was today welcomed by Haji Shiraz Uddin at his school Twinkling Stars Play School Bagh Qazi Yehiaganj Lucknow with the tricolor, with him on the occasion.

Former Jamia Professor Anjum Faraz Alig was also there. Bhante  presented the tricolor to the little children of the school, Professor Anjum Faraz Alig told that today our whole country is celebrating the Amrit Mahotsav of independence on the completion of 75 years of independence, our ancestors have made great sacrifices for this freedom.

Haji Shiraz Uddin appealed to all the parents who came to celebrate the completion of 75 years of independence by putting a flag on their homes and many programs are being organized in Lucknow in which Azadi Mela is organized in the historic Aishbagh Idgah of Lucknow from 13 to 13.

August 15 is being done, definitely take your children in it, the main attraction of this fair will be an exhibition of freedom fighters apart from various competitions for school and madrasa children, along with children from this exhibition Our knowledge will also increase.

He further said that special care should be taken that awareness campaign should be conducted in their homes and nearby people so that the flag should not be insulted.
