Notorious Gangster Anil Dujana gunned down

Meerut / Lucknow: UP STF has killed notorious gangster Anil Dujana in an encounter in Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh. Anil Dujana was considered synonymous with terror in Gautam Budh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Delhi-NCR and Haryana. According to the information received, there was a direct encounter between STF and Anil Dujana, in which Anil Dujana was killed.

Anil Dujana was in the list of top gangsters of Uttar Pradesh and was released from jail a few days ago. As soon as he was released from jail, he started threatening witnesses and businessmen in his case. Many complaints were being received by the police continuously. Information was received that as soon as he was released from jail, he had given threats to the people testifying against him in Gautam Budh Nagar.

Anil Dujana was a resident of Dujana village under Dadri police station area of Gautam Buddha Nagar. Anil Dujana was active in the world of crime for almost 3 decades. More than 50 cases were registered on this in Haryana and surrounding districts including Delhi NCR. It was always involved in cases like murder, robbery and dacoity.

Not only this, he even threatened to kill the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Anil Nagar alias Anil Dujana belongs to this Dujana village. In the police records, in 2002, the first case of murder of Harbir Pahalwan was registered against it at Kavi Nagar police station in Ghaziabad. He was also involved in a murder case in Muzaffarnagar’s Rohana.

Anil Dujana was synonymous with fear in West UP. There were almost cases registered against him including robbery, dacoity and murder. In Meerut, the team led by STF SP Brijesh Singh surrounded him after getting the location at Gangnahar. During this, Anil Dujana fired on the STF team, but he was killed in retaliatory firing.
