NTPC Vindhyachal CSR Initiative Empowers Girls with Bicycles at Khamharia Government School

Vindhynagar: NTPC Vindhyachal is not only dedicated to powering India’s growth but also actively engaging in uplifting students in government schools as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) endeavors. In a recent development, NTPC Vindhyachal CSR initiative extended a generous hand to ten students from the Government Higher Secondary School in Khamharia, providing them with bicycles, an act that ignited enthusiasm and joy among the young recipients.

The primary aim of this bicycle distribution initiative is to inspire and empower girls as part of the Girls’ Empowerment Campaign, fostering self-reliance, educational pursuit, and overall personal progress.

A significant event unfolded during the bicycle distribution, graced by the presence of key dignitaries, including Mr. B.C. Chaturvedi, Chief Medical Officer – Vindhya Hospital, Mr. Snehashish Bhattacharya, Additional General Manager (Human Resources), Mr. Japnajot Singh, Executive (CSR) from NTPC Vindhyachal, along with the school’s principal, dedicated teachers, and parents.

The girls of the Government School expressed their heartfelt satisfaction and joy upon receiving the bicycles through the NTPC Vindhyachal CSR initiative.
