NTPC Vindhyachal gets International Safety Award

Vindhyanagar, NTPC Vindhyachal has won an international award from the British Safety Council in recognition of its commitment to keeping its employees and workplaces healthy and safe during the calendar year 2022.

It is one of 296 organizations from around the world to win the International Security Awards 2023 of Merit. In its 65th year, the International Safety Awards are presented to organizations around the world that have performed well in preventing workplace injuries and work-related ill health during the previous calendar year. In previous calendar years the Awards have also acknowledged organizations that have shown a commitment to wellbeing and mental health at work.

In 2023, 774 organizations won an International Safety Award. They are spread across all sectors with significant representation from the construction, oil, gas, mining, power and utility sectors. The winners have been selected from 44 countries around the world.

British Safety Council CEO Mike Robinson congratulated NTPC Vindhyachal on its success in winning the award and the British Safety Council commended NTPC Vindhyachal for its achievement.

This award is in recognition of their commitment and hard work in keeping their employees and workplaces free from injuries and ill health. The British Safety Council aim that no one should be injured or ill by their work, anywhere in the world.
