ODOP to be now promoted using Koo app in 10 languages
Lucknow: UP government’s big scheme One District One Product (ODOP) will also be branded in embassies of other countries. ODOP products will also be displayed in the embassies and the e-commerce platform will also be displayed in the display so that people can import from there as well.
This will increase the export of ODOP products to foreign countries as well. At the same time, on social media also, complete information about the product related to Yogi government’s ambitious scheme ‘One District One Product’ (ODOP) will now be available in various Indian languages as well.
For this, the Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Export Promotion has signed an MoU with micro blogging app ‘Koo’. This will now help in promoting the products of the state.
The MoU was signed on Wednesday by Navneet Sehgal, Additional Chief Secretary, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Export Promotion Department, and Apmeya Radhakrishna, Co-Founder and CEO of Koo. Under this, ‘Koo’ will provide a platform for dissemination of ODOP related content and products in 10 languages to increase awareness among its users. In addition, Koo will also buy ODOP products for gifting in the corporate sector.
With this agreement, non-English speaking artisans and people will have access to programs and schemes related to ODOP. Along with this, a bigger market will be available with the local artisans of the state. This will help them to grow their business.
